Matt and Tara are an experienced energetic couple with a great sense of fun. They have a diverse range of skills above and below the water. A highly motivated, organised couple with an eye for detail and the desire to ensure their guests have the vacation they have been dreaming about.
They love helping guests discover the amazing waters of the British Virgin Islands through snorkeling and diving. A diving instructor for 20 years, Tara enthuses about the local fish and their habitats, sharing her knowledge with guests.
A professional chef, Tara spent two years at one of London's top catering colleges, and 10 years working in some top restaurants and hotels in London. Wanting to travel she became a diving instructor and started exploring the world. Tara has combined her two passions: cooking and the ocean. As a result of her training, when faced with issues like food intolerance or allergies, she can quickly produce suitable alternatives. Tara loves creating new menus and experimenting with new dishes and providing her guests with a fantastic culinary experience.
Matt is an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster with over ten years professional experience sailing the waters of Australia, BVI, Italy and the UK. He enjoys meeting new guests and dealing with challenges over the years. He loves being involved on deck and in the water, as well as exploring new places and cultures.

This was the ultimate, Captain Matt your patience, planning and wonderful sense of humor oh and your undying love of the George Dogs kept us all well taken care of.
Everyday the perfectly timed sails, the best landing spots and tolerance of the tarpon slaps kept the rails on an other wise nutty group.
Tara, we all felt enveloped the moment we got on board, the joy of watching all my kids chow down so happily is such a gift,

The weather was not on our side this week, between the North Swell and the 3 days of over cast and rain but we made it work..

To say thank you for a lovely trip is an understatement for how we truly feel about our boating adventure with you both.
From the lovely cabins perfectly turned out and comfortable beyond belief,
Matts tall tales and mixology and reef dives to Tara’s 5 Star Michellian guide, culinary works of art, her comforting charm and delightful sense of humor.
We could not have imagined a better adventure.
Both of you traveled beyond, to make each activity, meal, sail or relaxing moment as perfect as they could possibly be, thank you.
For our Daughter she will look at Nutella and tide to go pens with a smile and a twinkle remembering the tasty treats and the delightful teasing that has ensured this trip.

Thank you SO much for making our first trip to the BVI one we will never forget. You made the trip happen even when it almost didn’t. The children experienced things they will never forget. We came to relax and disconnect. We were totally relaxed and made memories that will last a lifetime (swimming with tarpons, (sharks), boat jumping at Willie T’s, tubing, snorkeling, JW’s 16th birthday, and Stuart falling in were just a few.) 6. On-Board Cuisine: The food was amazing. Once we told Mike that we needed more ice for drinks, then those were perfect as well.

8. Water-Sports: We didn't really scuba dive like we had planned. We were offered to do a dive boat, but weren't really into that scene, so we declined. Honestly, we probably wouldn't have done it anyway due to head/ear pressure challenges, so that was another reason we declined.

Thank you so much for being the most amazing crew we could have ever asked for. We had such an amazing time and will never forget how awesome you both made this trip for us. Your food was incredible too! The pork dish was my favorite and it was such a treat to have lobster on the last day! I loved waking up in the morning to your delicious breakfast! And we enjoyed the yummy drinks that Mike made too! Thanks for getting us everywhere safely and answering all of our silly questions. And thanks to both of you for your awesome sense of humor. So happy to be back on the water and down in the islands after 4 years. Originally planned for late 2020, and then June 2021, the stars seemed to align finally, including getting Matt and Tara for our crew. They made us feel at home, the food and hospitality was great. We had two families together and it was an amazing experience. New bays for snorkeling, Pre Lobster fest on Anegada - we felt the BVI love, thank you for all the extras! We will never forget.
The water was perfect, the company was amazing. Such great snorkeling and took a good hike on Peter Island. We cruised around Anegada so fast that a bike with a flat tire passed us. Then one of us almost did a little “bottomless" horse back riding. The food was delicious and the crew, Tara and Matt were the best - every day was wonderful.
